Minnesota Public Radio presents The Class Notes Concert Series with the musical group The Paper Clips performing on Wednesday, May 15th, at 5:00 pm, at Castle Danger Brewery, Two Harbors, Minn.

The Class Notes Concert Series showcases artists who perform at schools partnered with MPR’s Class Notes program. This initiative provides free, in-person educational performances by local Minnesota-based artists in schools throughout the state.

The Paper Clips are a trombone quartet based in Minneapolis. Their performances showcase the history and cultural impact of the Motown Record label. They combine the soulful melodies and exciting rhythms of 1960s Classic Motown with the power of a trombone quartet to connect to the roots in Black American Music and popular music styles of the 20th century.

Join us for an afternoon of music for all ages on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, from 5 to 6 p.m., at Castle Danger Brewery, 17 7th Street, Two Harbors, MN 55616. Registration is not required but preferred.

The Class Notes Concert Series is made available in part by the Minnesota Legacy Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
