Welcome to the first season of Minnesota Winds, your professional concert band!
Step into a space of connection, beauty, and discovery as Minnesota Winds takes you on a musical journey across landscapes, cultures, and stories. From the towering Alps to the shores of Havana, from the power of volcanoes to the quiet sanctuary of home, this concert invites you to experience the extraordinary range of the wind ensemble.
Featuring works for chamber winds by Steven Bryant, Felix Mendelssohn, Ruth Gipps, Frank Ticheli, Caroline Shaw, John Steinmetz, and Kevin Day, the program celebrates the threads that tie us together—through nature, through history, and through music itself.
Conducted by William Eddins.
