Considered to be one of the finest art festivals south of the river, the Lakeville Art Festival is held the third weekend in September in historic downtown Lakeville, Minnesota on the grounds of the Lakeville Area Arts Center. Featuring approximately 100 juried artists on the park-like grounds using a unique circular arrangement of artist booths, the Lakeville Art Festival provides an intimate and accessible setting to enjoy fine art.

At the Lakeville Art Festival, we take great pride and joy in the community art projects that evolve each year. All of the community art projects are on permanent display at the Lakeville Area Arts Center.

Our “Young at Art” tent makes the Lakeville Art Festival one of the most popular family events in Minnesota. The tent is stocked with plenty of art supplies, art project ideas, and friendly volunteers to get the creative juices flowing.
